Since 2009, the FCMS team has developed a large and continually expanding Client base across the UK. Our Clients range from corporates, social housing providers, Local Authorities, Constabularies, Insurance companies, PFI providers, Schools (Colleges, Universities, Further Education) to multi-building manufacturing sites, managing agents, licensees, retailers and many other industry sectors.
Over the years we can safely say we have conducted Fire Risk Assessments within almost every type of building.
Accreditation to FRACS is designed to provide a profile differentiator "Technical Reference" that FCMS use Fire Risk Assessors; covered under the international standard for bodies operating certification of persons; BS EN ISO/IEC 17024: 2003. FRACS provides a standardised and nationally recognised certificate of competence. FRACS Registration Number: FRA (C) 007.
FCMS is so much more than a provider of Fire Risk Assessments. Our expertise is ensuring our Clients achieve and maintain compliance with the Fire Regulations at the same time as protecting them from the risks of both Enforcement Action and potential exposure to endanger the ‘Reputational Risk’ of the organisation.

Pete Moulson (Managing Director)
Pete is an experienced Fire Risk Specialist having over 39 years operating within the Fire Industry, a significant amount of which was serving within a Local Authority Fire & Rescue Service. Pete has personally completed in excess of 5,000 Fire Risk Assessments.
FCMS Clients remain FCMS Clients due in the main to our 'Best in Class' approach, the range of services and Customer Service we provide; meeting our Clients every need and bring significant added value wherever we can. This is the same whether it be through delivering consistent high-quality Fire Risk Assessments, the provision of Fire Safety Training, Consultancy or Enforcement support.
As a testament to the quality of the proposition we offer to our Clients, we have recently received company Accreditation on FRACS, FCMS have been awarded a number of new contracts, been placed on multi-year Framework Agreements to deliver a variety of our services at various locations around the UK – proving beyond doubt that FCMS is a leading national player when it comes to fire compliance.
Paul Brennan (Non-Executive Director)
Paul has previously worked for Exxon Mobil & Croda International in RD&I, Technical Marketing & Commercial Management. He joined AkzoNobel in 1999, and held roles as European Business Development Manager, European Sales Manager, General Manager and was appointed Managing Director of the Industrial Coatings business in 2012.
Paul, as a Non-Executive Director will support FCMS’s growth with large national clients in a technical and commercial role, delivering business growth and managing strategic relationships.
Paul’s previous repeated success in adding overall organisational value above and beyond transformation and turnaround will be of significant value to FCMS going forward.
Andy Davis (Commercial Director)
Leading the commercial function for FCMS, Andy has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the preparation of tenders and marketing, but moreover, has demonstrated efficient use of his skills co-managing and overseeing large contracts.
Andy has a strong ability to plan projects effectively and ensuring the service delivery provided by FCMS runs smoothly in-line with timelines agreed with our Clients.
Andy is currently involved in managing significant sized projects such as Home Group (1500 Fire Risk Assessments completed since January 2019) and Gentoo who are both Social Housing providers, Norfolk & Suffolk Police contracts delivering excellent results within demanding KPI's.
Yvonne Topping (Project Coordinator)
Yvonne has a wide range of project management experience. Utilising her proficient communication skills, Yvonne is responsible for coordinating and overseeing all Fire Risk Assessment activities and other internal projects such as ISO 9001 operating alongside Andy and Anne.
Yvonne also provides on-going support to our growing team of Fire Risk Assessors who are based Nationwide. With her friendly personality, excellent telephone manner Yvonne attributes are intrinsic to helping FCMS consistently deliver outstanding customer service to our clients and as such, Yvonne is a valued member of the FCMS Team.
Anne Moulson (Head of Administration)
Anne has many years administrative experience having held roles as an Office Manager and a PA with high profile companies such as British Aerospace, NHS and a private Environmental Consultancy.
Anne is the anchor of the business and as a key member of the management team helps ensure the business runs efficiently at the same time as acting as PA to the Managing Director.
Using her analytical skills, Anne also oversees the finance side of the business where she is responsible for all invoicing activities, liaison with Clients (where required) on finance related issues but also, coordinates our annual accounts submission linking in with our accountants.
