Pete is an experienced Fire Risk Specialist having over 39 years operating within the Fire Industry, a significant amount of which was serving within a Local Authority Fire & Rescue Service. Pete has personally completed in excess of 5,000 Fire Risk Assessments.

This is the same whether it be through delivering consistent high-quality Fire Risk Assessments, the provision of Fire Safety Training, Consultancy or Enforcement support.

As a testament to the quality of the proposition we offer to our Clients, we have recently received company Accreditation on FRACS. FCMS have been awarded a number of new contracts, been placed on multi-year Framework Agreement. Delivering a variety of our services at various locations around the UK. Managing Director

Simon

Simon has been a Principle Fire Engineer with 35 years' experience within the fire safety and engineering industry, with proven experience in a vast array of public and private sectors throughout the UK and other international countries.

Simon has an extensive knowledge base, that covers general fire safety, risk management and fire engineering. He uses this skill set across the industry within all building profiles. Simon is highly skilled in identifying solutions based on challenging problems and a great asset to the team.
Compliance Director

Andrew

Andrew comes from a building surveying background and has worked solely in the fire sector for just under 10 years, previously working for two major consultancy companies undertaking consultancy and assessment roles.

Andrew is competent in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments on a multitude of different building profiles of varying complexity along with the initial stages of the new FRAEW appraisals. He regularly audits installed fire-stopping and fire safety management systems, undertakes quality assurance review work as required, and mentors new staff members.

Andrew has a membership of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) and is a competent Fire Door inspector under the FDIS scheme. He is currently assisting FCMS to attain BAFE SP205 accreditation to further strengthen the FCMS position within the sector to provide our clients with a greater level of assurance of competence and quality.
Contract Manager

Adam

Adam joined FCMS as a Fire Risk Assessor/Consultant in summer 2021 after a number of years working as a health and safety advisor in the construction industry, with specific focus on fire safety. Within the role, I managed the health and safety of a number of projects including new build houses, maintenance, passive fire protection installation & fire door inspections,

After building on my experience in conducting fire risk assessments in several building types whilst working with other members of staff, my role changed to Contracts Manager for Torus. The project is due to start in summer 2022 and I am relishing the change to progress my experience further as the project hopefully grows.
Head of Administration

Anne

Anne has many years administrative experience, having held roles as an Office Manager and a PA with high profile companies. These include British Aerospace, NHS and a private Environmental Consultancy.

Anne is the anchor of the business and as a key member of the management team. She helps ensure the business runs efficiently, at the same time as acting as PA to the Managing Director.

Using her analytical skills, Anne also oversees the finance side of the business. She is responsible for all invoicing activities, liaison with Clients (where required) on finance related issues but also, coordinates our annual accounts submission linking in with our accountants.
Project Manager

Dee

Dee joined our team in January 2020 as a Project coordinator and CRM supervisor. Dee has an extensive background in project management, including customer liaison, with a little marketing along the way.

She finds the fire safety industry very interesting and likes to support the team in providing a high standard of service to the client. Dee has worked in the fire industry sector for circa 17 years and is still as enthusiastic about her role now as she was at the start of her career.

Lyndsey

Lyndsey has over 30 years' experience in operational management for the Insurance Sector, predominantly in underwriting. Here at FCMS Lyndsey supports project management through quality assurance.
Customer Liaison Officer

Adam

Adam takes huge pride in his work, having over 20 years of experience in Customer Service. His career has spanned various sectors, including positions not just in the corporate world but also hospitality and teaching in SEN settings. This means that Adam lists perfect service delivery and time management as enhanced skills.

He has only grown these skills whilst at FCMS and has become an invaluable member of the team with his organisation and IT proficiencies.
